I first introduced this purchase months ago when MSA had a promo code for Tatcha ($20 off of $40) and I opted for trial size products so I could get a feel for Tatcha's products. Unfortunately the only one I've actually tried so far is the cleansing oil, which comes in phenomenal packaging and appears to be luxury at its finest. 

The camellia cleansing oil is formulated with camellia and rice bran oils. It contains no mineral oils and is suitable for all skin types. This cleansing oil has a smooth feel to it and washes off in a milky lather. 

When wearing a natural look with minimal make-up, this cleansing oil does the job perfectly. But when wearing a full face of make-up, I find I have to use this twice before I can get off every bit of makeup (especially eyeliner and mascara). They claim with this cleansing oil that double cleansing isn't necessary, but I beg to differ. 

My overall impression of this cleansing oil comes to the conclusion of it being a luxurious item. It feels smoother than other cleansing oils and definitely has a richer feel to it, but I find it doesn't take off make-up better than others I have tried previously. I use about 2-3 pumps per cleanse, and another 2-3 if it didn't take off all of my makeup. This trial size lasted me about 3 weeks, which is good for the price. The full size costs $48.00 for 5.1fl oz, so it's pretty spendy. I love the luxurious feel to it and I would definitely repurchase given the chance, but I feel reluctant to actually recommend this item. What are your thoughts?
