 I got a bit too excited in my giveaway and included this item in the prizes without actually reviewing it first. But let me tell you, this product has become a staple in my makeup routine and has become a travel essential for me. If you know me well, it's because the SPF content won me over.

The CoverFX SPF 30 primer is vegan and made with organic sunscreens. Packed with antioxidants, the formula protects, hydrates, and smooths out the skin. Not only that, but if you have trouble with redness, it contains chamomile extracts known to help calm the skin and reduce the redness. It's formulated without parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, gluten, talc, and sulfates. 

The primer has a yellow-orange tint to it and has a similar look and feel as the Smashbox Photofinish primer, but it's less thick in consistency than Smashbox's primer. The formula doesn't feel greasy or anything like that. It has a citrus scent to it, which is probably from the grapefruit extract it contains. It's not very bothersome, but at the same time it does have the typical sunscreen smell to it. 

It works really well on my dry skin and even on oily skin (my sister loved it during her visit!). Your makeup stays on all day and your skin doesn't feel dry or dehydrated. Flash photography still turns out great! The deal breaker would be the price, at a hefty $40 tag. Regardless of the price, I would definitely repurchase. My current favorite foundation is Estee Lauder's Double Wear Foundation, which doesn't have SPF in it. This hits two birds with one stone and just makes life so much easier.
