Beauty Hack: The Stubborn Foundation Bottle

So you love your Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, but the product disbursement is a downfall. All it is an open tube and you pour out product, or you end up dipping a Q-tip in there to prevent as much product waste as possible. Well I was handed a plan of action because, well, sisters know best. Make-up gurus aren't gurus for no reason and what we've learned from them is that the solution is Clinique's Superbalanced Makeup Foundation Pump.
Clinique's foundation pump was released to help simplify the use of their Superbalanced Foundation, which has a very similar opening as the Estee Lauder's Double Wear Foundation. The pump costs $2.00 online and at the counter. I was so surprised to see how cheap it turned out to be, considering I did no online price research. Ha ha. The pump is the perfect size, with the tube being the perfect length. For $2.00, it's very well made and expected of Cinique.
The aesthetic appeal is lacking when paired with the Estee Lauder packaging. Instead of a rich gold, Clinique specialises in a clean and pristine silver color. It clashes slightly, but who puts their foundation to showcase? Right? Ha ha. I may be wrong.
Upon actually using it, you have to be careful because the opening of the pump doesn't have any beveled-ness. Most pumps have a bit of beveled-ness that prevents the product from proceeding further, but I feel like with this pump foundation could easily drip from the opening. The best way to prevent that would be to use a Q-tip to catch the excess. The cap is secure so don't worry about foundation getting pumped everywhere in your bag. Just make sure to keep the cap and don't lose it.
