Still in search for the perfect pink? If you have a little extra cash and don't mind spending it, then your search has come to a halt. The Tom Ford lipstick in Spanish Pink is the loveliest of colors. The supreme gold and burgundy packaging of the Tom Ford lipstick is to die for. But does the product justify the price?

As stated, the packaging is phenomenal. The gold and dark burgundy gives it a sleek and lux appearance without looking too flashy. The lipstick itself has a bit of weight to it. It's heavier than the Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced. The way it opens and closes is amazing. It sounds like a velvet jewelry box, so quietly and delicately. One flaw in the packaging is that the lipstick isn't fingerprint proof. You get smears on it and it just looks messy after a bit. I'm actually surprised they didn't include a velvet bag/case for it. Brands like Dior and Kevyn Aucoin include velvet bags for their shadows.

 The lipstick has a lovely buttery formula that just melts onto your lips. It has a vanilla scent, similar to MAC lipsticks except more subtle, which is great for those who are sensitive to fragrances. Upon application it's a bit sheer but the pigment is buildable. It does create streaks where there's less product, so you really have to apply it continuously for a bit. 

The color is a bit different than what I expected. I thought it'd be a nude pink but it's more bold and coral, yet still very flattering.

 On the first day of trials, I got a good 4 hours of wear for this lipstick then had to reapply. The second day I applied more lipstick at one time and it lasted all day. It does get into cracks but doesn't emphasize dryness. At the end of the day, you'll see that it leaves a slight stain so your lips will have a color kind of like the lipstick shade. 

The formula is really moisturizing. I didn't have the need to apply chapstick or anything like that. The texture is also soft on your lips, similar to a lip balm or something.

Overall, I really like this lipstick. The shade is so flattering and I think it would match anyone. The formula is lovely but the wear is average. To pay $49.00... Eh. I would repurchase given the chance and money.
