Summer Lippies with Milani

Milani Lipstick in 12 Flamingo Pose and 01 Sweet Nectar, ~$5.49
Summer is the season of neon. This summer--orange lippies. I decided to give Milani a shot since it's received so much hype. The formula is supposedly amazing and the colors--well pigmented. I decided on two lovely and bright shades: Flamingo Pose, a bright pink, and Sweet Nectar, a neon orange.
Milani lipsticks come in a beautifully reflective gold case and colored bottom. The cap is nicely secured so you don't have to worry about it accidentally coming off in your purse. The shade represented at the bottom of the product is pretty spot-on in regards to the actual shade. Bonus points for Milani.
The formula is a full coverage lipstick, meaning one swipe will go a long way. You don't have to worry about little streaks here and there because this lipstick has got it goin' on. It contains vitamins A, C, and E to help moisturize your lips. It's also formulated without parabens. Although it's full coverage, the product doesn't feel too heavy so it doesn't even feel like you're wearing lipstick.
 Flamingo Pose
Sweet Nectar
The formula is, indeed, full coverage. I love the colors because they come out so bright and true to color. It also has a slight scent of watermelon jolly ranchers, which is surprising because most lip products smell like peppermint or vanilla. Ha ha. It's a long-lasting formula that withstands food and drinks. It also doesn't dry out the lips so don't worry too much about carrying chapstick around with you. If you are in need of a bit of moisture, just pat some chapstick on top. Don't worry about feathering happening--this lippie is fool proof.
Overall, I would definitely purchase more Milani lipsticks. I loove the brightness of these two shades in particular, so if you're looking for bright lipsticks at a cheap price, Milani is the one.
