Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Complex

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm, ~$8.50
The Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm is a product you've seen on my blog, but I haven't done a proper review on this item until now. There have actually been a few articles praising this matte balm and its capabilities, not forgetting to mention the price. Let's see why it's in so many others' favorites list.
The Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm is available in 10 shades, ranging from nudes, corals, reds, mauves, and purples. It is supposed to have a velvety matte finish thanks to the coconut, shea, and mango butters included in the product. The butters aid in providing a super moisturizing and nourishing formula for the beauty wearing Revlon's product. Also be pleased to know while I was looking through the ingredients, I found this balm doesn't contain any parabens. Go Revlon!
The packaging is superb. The matte balm packaging features a sleek, chic look with matte finishes. Revlon's Colorburst Balms are all packaged according to their effect. The matte balm containers have matte finishes, the balm stains have glossy finishes, and the lacquer balms have more shiny metallic finishes.
The shade comes off a bit peachy but is a great nude color. It tends to emphasize dry areas of your lips, so make sure to prep before application. Like many balms, it has a minty feeling that's meant for plumping your lips, though I'm not sure if it actually does do that. Also to note, application may be a bit uneven. It applies slightly sheer and you will experience streaks where you probably went over an area a second time. You'll also be able to see where you pursed your lips, so I suggest either not pursing your lips or smooth it out afterward.
This lip balm is, indeed, moisturizing. It isn't the longest lasting lip balm which means you'll have to retouch throughout the day. Regardless of that, I love the color and the formula is nice. I really like how it's just a hint of color to your lips. Overall, I would add more shades to my lip collection from this line.
